Nov. 1
- 1994: Merry Christmas is released in the USA. Featuring three original Christmas songs and seven covers of timeless Christmas classics, including a mash-up of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Gloria (In Excelsis Deo),” the album will go on to reach #3 on the Billboard 200. Further, Merry Christmas will go on to become one of the best-selling holiday albums of all time, with Mariah later being crowned the “Queen of Christmas.”
- 1999: Mariah celebrates the release of the forthcoming Rainbow album with a performance for the Today Show at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Her three song set includes “Heartbreaker,” “Can’t Take That Away (Mariah’s Theme),” “Hero,” and a lot of colorful balloons.
- 2003: Charmbracelet Tour at MEN Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.
- 2005: Sony re-releases Merry Christmas on its fairly new DualDisc format. Side one was the original album, with “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” released for the first time in the USA. The second side was an 8 track DVD featuring the Claymation music video for the newly released “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town (Anniversary Mix),” in addition to the animated “All I Want For Christmas Is You (So So Def Remix)” and the live version of “Joy to the World” from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
- 2018: Mariah Carey Live 2018 Tour at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.
Nov. 2
- 1999: Mariah’s seventh studio album, Rainbow, is released in the USA. The album features the #1 hits “Heartbreaker” and “Thank God I Found You,” as well as fan favorite “Can’t Take That Away (Mariah’s Theme).” Mariah signs copies of the album at Coconuts in New York City.
- 2010: Mariah’s second Christmas album, Merry Christmas II You, is released in the USA. The collection features four new Mariah originals: “Christmastime Is In The Air Again,” “When Christmas Comes,” “One Child,” and the lead single, “Oh, Santa!” The album’s title is a nod to being her second Christmas record. Tying back to the first one, it includes the “extra festive” version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” with a new instrumental introduction by Marc Shaiman, and a live version of “O Holy Night.”
- 2014: The Elusive Chanteuse Show head to Australia for six shows, the first at Sandalford Estate Swan Valley Winery in Perth. The Australian leg also brings Mariah to New Zealand to perform for the very first time.
Nov. 3
- 1993: Mariah embarks on her first ever tour, the Music Box tour, which kicks off on this day at Miami Arena in Miami, Florida. The mini tour spanned across six cities in the United States. The setlist consisted of her #1 hits to date and included deep cuts "Vanishing", "All In Your Mind" and "Now That I Know." Mariah also included a cover of the S.O.S Band's "Just Be Good To Me." She would later include the cover song to her Daydream tour as well.
- 2018: Mariah Carey Live 2018 Tour at The Star Theatre in Singapore.

- 1995: For the third week in a row, Daydream holds steady at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
- 2003: Charmbracelet Tour at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France.

- 2014: The Elusive Chanteuse Show at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia.
- 2021: Mariah releases her new Christmas single, "Fall In Love at Christmas," which features Khalid and Kirk Franklin. The song would later be featured on Mariah's second Christmas special for Apple TV+, titled Mariah's Christmas: The Magic Continues, which was released worldwide on December 3, 2021.

- 2018: Mariah Carey Live 2018 Tour at Lumbini - Borodudur Temple in Central Java, Indonesia.
- 2024: Mariah kicks off her holiday tour, Mariah Carey's Christmastime at Yamaava Theater in Highland, CA. The tour would cover twenty-one dates across the United States. However, due to coming down with the flu, Mariah would eventually cancel three shows scheduled for Pittsburgh, Newark and Belmont Park before returning triumphantly for the final show at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

- 2023: Merry Christmas One and All! Tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. During the show, Mariah Carey spontaneously broke into an improvised "mop song" after commenting that the stage felt slippery. Taking matters into her own hands, she grabbed a mop and cleaned the stage herself, humorously declaring, "I did the best I could." The iconic moment would be echoed once again at the Hollywood Bowl in 2024. Due to overwhelming demand, a second show was added to Hollywood Bowl.

- 1993: Mariah’s first network television special airs on Thankgiving night. Titled simply Mariah Carey, the concert special was filmed earlier in the year at the legendary Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady, New York. The concert featured the first ever live performances of the four singles from Music Box (including “Hero” and “Dreamlover”), as well as behind the scenes footage of Mariah at home with friends and with her mother. The package was soon-after released on home video and laser disc. In later years, it would be re-released on DVD and digital download.
- 1998: Mariah appears with Whitney Houston on the Oprah Winfrey Show performing "When You Believe" from The Prince of Egypt for the first time together in front of a live audience.
- 2023: Mariah is honored with the Music Icon Award at the second annual TheGrio Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA, recognizing her unparalleled chart-topping legacy and impact as one of the best-selling female artists of all time. The tribute includes performances by Patti LaBelle, Jennifer Hudson, Coco Jones, and Boyz II Men. The show was recorded at an earlier date and aired on CBS and Paramount.

Mariah’s second network television special was taped before a standing room only crowd and featured special guests Boyz II Men on “One Sweet Day.” Boyz member Wanya Morris returned to the stage to join Mariah on “I’ll Be There.” As a segue into the holiday season, the special concluded with Mariah’s performance of “Joy to the World” from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. In 1996, the show was released on VHS and laserdisc, featuring an extended version of “Vision of Love” as well as two songs not aired on the network special: “Without You” and “Forever.” In later years, the show was released to DVD and digital download.
